Visual Representation

College is supposed to induce excitement in a student, it should be the drive of everyday, but students become weary of classes. Institutions should incorporate visuals which will provide movtivation for the student environmentally. Clayton State University is depicted by an array of things such as the Swans which grace the lakes of the campus. The trees with branches that branch off in different directions to give a primitive forest feel along with the leaves. The hill like roads which make every round through the campus feel as a road trip. The architecture of the buildings are complex and give a more modern day structure.

Representation

Whenever I think of CSU hundreds of images come to mind. I think about Swan Lake, located next to the University Center most often. I have spent hours sitting on the benches, looking out over the water thinking about nothing. One winter I almost fell into the water when I slipped on the snow near the edge of the water. In the spring the swans chase the geese across the water and over into the pond. It was also the first place my friends and I ever saw ducks mating (VERY unpleasant).  It's always so calm there and when I am out near the water, by myself or with friends, it reminds me of why I have such happy feelings towards this school.
Orange and blue remind me of school as well. To me, the athletic program at CSU is one of it's best features. There is always a game to go to; everyone has so much enthusiasm for the teams and it's so much fun to be apart of that. It's thrilling to be in the gym bleachers, screaming 'til your throat is sore in the last twenty minutes of a close game. My heart pounds on the sidelines of the soccer field whenever the lakers score a goal. I am always so proud to know that these are my school mates, admirable in victory, honorable in loss.
CSU has so much to offer it's student body. It means something different to each person. While these images mean a lot to me, they may mean nothing to someone else.
